GUIDELINES
The following guideline outlines the shared responsibilities of the Academy.
The School is committed to:
- Providing high quality teaching
- Providing a learning experience for each student which is appropriate to his/her age, ability level and goals
- As far as is possible in a class situation, providing equal learning opportunities for all students
- Preparing and entering students for examinations, where the student wishes to and when the school believes it to be appropriate to their learning development
- Providing a safe, healthy and fun learning environment for dance & drama
Each Student must commit to:
- Attend all classes to which they are committed, arriving in time to begin the class at the scheduled time
- Make sure that they are properly clothed and equipped for each class
- Set themselves high standards of work and to pursue them to the best of their ability
- Respect other students, their parents, their teachers and other people they work with in class and meet in the school
- Behave appropriately in class and not to disrupt their own or other students’ learning
Parents agree that:
- They will support their son/daughter in their dance/drama studies
- They will support the school by partaking in any fundraising activities and by encouraging high standards of dancing/acting, learning and behaviour
- They will ensure that their child(ren) attend classes regularly and promptly, appropriately dressed, honour all commitments and to provide a clear written/verbal explanation of any legitimate absence
- Ensure their child attends all classes to which they are committed, arriving in time to begin the class at the scheduled time
- Ensure their child(ren) are are properly clothed and equipped for each class
